I made a 50% deposit for a 41 Willys kit to Active Power on August 1st 2006. That is six months ago!! I have talked to them on several occasions and they were always just about ready to complete and ship my kit. While wating for the kit, I have spent many hours and $7000.00 on the chassis and drivetrain for the kit. If I did not have so much tied up, I would tell them to refund my deposit.

Finally got the kit!!! It seems they remade the molds because the quality was not what they wanted. The kit is great!!

We're glad to hear you received the Active Power kit and that you like it! Former editor, Eric Geisert, is building an Active Power Willys pickup, which Eric is featuring with technical how-to articles in KIT CAR. I also ordered a 41 Willy's Pickup from active power in July of 05. It took until Oct.of 05 to receive the shipment. Have not been real thrilled with it because it is out of the old mold when Chris Arden was running it. Nothing seems to want to fit right. I have been working with Rick Brom now but still having problems.I am heading to his shop next week and hopefully can finally get some answers so I can get this truck built.
