HI all,
Can anyone ID this kit? The one furthest to the right with the #23 on it... I am pretty sure that it is a modded P4, but would like any other info anyone has! Like, builder, owners website, things like that.... OH! And more pics would be awesome too!!

Hi,
The red #23 car is not a kit. It's a genuine, 1969 Chevron B-16, owned by Tony Podell. If you re-read the article, you'll see this event was the 10th Annual Coronado Speed Festival, where vintage sports cars are raced. Replicas aren't permitted to race at vintage racing events. The companies that build replicars are allowed to display their vehicles. Replicar and continuation car manufacturers participating included: Thunder Ranch, Superformance, and Shelby American.
Thanks for reading KIT CAR!
Best,
Brian

Hi, The Chevron B16 is one of the sexyest shapes ever (to me anyway). A company in USA has built a kit for it. But why not buy a real one? Chevron are, I understand, building them again as road/track cars. Google Chevron B16, they have a site that discribes what they are doing. They might be a bit more expensive than a kit manufacturer, but at least it will be a quality vehicle and without kit car depreciation. Don.
