I ALSO HAVE A VENOM 427 BY PERFORMANCE I BOUGHT IT USED AND I AM LOOKING FOR INFO.
I have had this 03 model for 2 years. If you find out anything let me know!!!!!!

The Venom is essentially the same car as the Backdraft Cobra replica. There was apparently a partnership and the two parties split. One
kept the Venom name and the other went on as
Backdraft. I have a Venom I bought from a dealer in 2003. I have also been to the Backdraft office in Boynton Beach, FL.
Both cars use the suspension components from early to late 90's BMW Series 3 sedans. As far as I could tell both cars are identical except for some small details. I have been very satisfied with the Venom I have. I have put about 7,000 miles on it with no problems. I have a Ford Performance crate 302 rated at 345 hp, and a T-5 trans. The car is quick, handles well, sounds good and even gets fair mileage. Davelmm
