Is anyone out there able to help a fella out? In 2000, Kit Car introduced an article of a kit called the PATRIOT, it was one of the most dynamic rides I've seen in a minute.....But, when I went to inquire about it,it was as if it never existead, am I just imagining things, or does anyone else know what I talking about......Oh yeah, a pic would be nice w/info on the builder. Thanks a Grip Keep it quick-Keep it Kit. Tray

I thought I was the only one looking for this car... If we're talking about the same car, it's a radical Fiero-based design with a flip-up canopy instead of doors and more than the average engineering involved to build (I think that was the main reason for its demise). I'd first seen the ads for it some time in the late 80s or early 90s and it was designed by Adrian Corbett who I think did the Countach kit for Exotic Illusions (don't quote me on that last part though). Same here; it was like the car never existed; I have some fairly good research skills and I've been coming up empty for a few years now. I was thinking it would be a great body to use for a V8 Fiero conversion.

Hello, New at this so, bear with... The Patriot was by far the best car I have been in to this date. It drove and handled awesome. On a Fiero chasis, the vehicle opened in half. The rear half revealed the engine and the front exposed the cockpit. Adrian was ahead of his time with the Patriot, the design today, would have done exceptionally well. Long time family friend, Adrian Corbett, did create the vehicle in his garage in Lompoc California. He produced a hand full in a shop near his home. Yes, he did also design and build the Lambo you speak of. If I recall, he sold the Lambo project to a gentleman in Pensylvania. Little known fact, Adrian gave the Patriot a little brother, named the Riot. He made and sold a few before selling the project to Thunder Ranch of El Cajon, CA. Thunderranch.com I have not spoken to Adrian in several years, but have been attempting to locate him.
