I am looking to buy a car with a 350 turbo tranny/manual vavle body.  It has Stage 3 shift kit with B&M Ratchet shifter.  I have never had the pleasure of using this type of shifter.  I'm assuming it has the standard shift patern P, R, N, D, 2, 1.  But I'm not clear on how the rachet shifting feature works.  Could anyone offer a quick tutorial on rachet shifting?  Thanks so much!  

Try looking at JEGS, they have almost every type of B&M shifter made.
