Hey,
I'm wondering. What's the best donor car to build a 32 ford coupe? or is it worth to to just buy a chassis.

To my knowledge (and correct me if I'm wrong) most '32 kits aren't usually based off of one donor car, it might be easiest to buy the chassis from the company you plan on getting your car from.

Ed is absolutely correct. When you build a '32 Ford coupe, you either need to start with an original '32 frame, which you'll need to fully box for strength and safety. Since there aren't many original '32 Ford frames anymore, most builders will buy a chassis from one of the chassis shops across the country. SAC Hot Rod Products (www.sachotrod.com) in Orange, California, is one of the premier chassis builders in the U.S. They manufacture '28 to '40 Ford chassis that are extremely strong and exceptionally engineered. When building any sort of car, you don't want to take any shortcuts with the chassis.
Good luck with your project!
