I just took delivery on a Classic Roadsters Mercedes Benz 500K that was factory built back in the day with 1900 miles on it (Ford 302 V8). I also own a V6 Gazelle and for those of you that own one of these also, parts are available from MG Magic Inc. in Florida at 954-680-2010. Don't know if they have any Marlene parts since I haven't talked to them about it yet. My Marlene looks almost new but I do need to replace a couple of the fake crome plastic trim pieces that have the "crome" seperating from the plastic substrate. Anyone know where these can be purchased? One of the ones I need to replace is curved and I am assuming it must have been heated and bent to get the shape but if anyone has done this and can give me some hints I would appreciate it. The 4 inch whitewalls have yellowed and my research suggests sanding with fine or medium sanding pads to bring back the white. Any thoughts? I also would love to obtain a copy of the manuals if anyone knows where I can buy them. My email addy is rchilliardiii@yahoo.com

Thanks for the phone number. I'll call it monday. The fake crome I found at auto zone. It comes in a roll and you can cut how ever you like.

I have a '34 Heritage replica which doesn't have the hood and outside fender chrome strips.  Any idea where one would go to find such parts?  These chrome strips were part of some kits.  970-669-4546

I have just purchased a CMC Gazelle.  It has been stored for a number of years but is in overall fair condition.  For some reason the wiring is a rats nest and I don't have a wiring diagram.  It is a 1982 kit on a 1980 Pinto chassis w/auto transmission.  Anyone know where I might get a wiring diagram?  Thanks.

I have long been looking for Classic International and Silver Arrow Motorworks brochures or info packs but unfortunately without result.

I too have a CMC 1929 Gazelle. Classic Motor Carriages went out of business in 1995, but I have located a source for many parts in Hollywood, FL. I have ordered from them, very reliable. Call 1-954-680-2010. They will tell you how to print out their full catelog and prices on line. Good luck.

Hello. Does anyone have any insight on how to put the roll up windows in a Marlene? If you do, it would be very helpful. Also looking for some parts if anyone knows. Does the factory still have them? I don't need much, just some odds and ends.

Thanks

I have been building a 1934 Marlene replica by Classic Roadsters.  The original owner purchased the Kit back in 1988 and never worked on it.  I purchased the kit in 2006 still in the boxes with the original building guide and wiring diagrams.  I am using a 1998 Ford Ranger 2.5 with 4R44E auto transmission.  I installed a new Mustang II power rack and pinion but can't get the power steering pump installed due to lack of room. I would be happy to copy and mail you the wiring diagrams I have.

I have never used in the box original Classic Roadster set of gauges that I can't use as I am using a 1998 Rord Ranger engine. Also have two step by step builders books including wiring diagrams. Will sell the original gauges and copy the diagrams on request.
