Wide Whitewalls Sources

I need some WIDE (4 inch or so)whitewalls for my 1936 Mercedes roadster.  To my surprise they don't seem to be available from Coker and others in 14 inch sizes.  I see some companies are selling white paint that seems to do the trick.  Has anyone tried any of it or have any sources I haven't found?  

Interesting, have you tried calling soker tires, to see if they might make specialty tires not advertised on the site or catalog?  

I found several companies like Coker that make wide whitewalls, but none in my size.
I bought some blackwalls and have some special paint coming from iceland, going to make my own.  Here is a link to the source:

I seem to remember seeing the white wall paint on hot rods as a kid, it could end up looking really good or really bad, let us know how it works out for you  

So far, one coat of three required, I am quite impressed.

Yep, I think they are beautiful.  Sure a great way to get wide walls.

Coker and BF Goodrich make a wide whitewall, very pricy like around 175 per tire (times 5 for me)
The problem was, they don't make one in 14 inch size for the Marlene kit, the fancy wheels come with the kit.  This way I bought tires for $34 each, $50 for the paint makes total cost per tire only $44, and I feel this is just as good as the high priced ones (and wider too, more like the originals).  

How hard was it to apply? Came out amazing.  

That was the best part of all.  You can thin and spray it, but the norm is just brush it on.  It is pretty thick, and when first on it looks like hell.  As it sets or dries, it smooths out like a factory whitewall!  He recomends three coats, and the stuff is liquid rubber with lots and lots of stretch if needed.  If you use a tire with a molded ridge at the whitewall edge, it is easier to make it even.  Masking tape on that ridge makes it look totally factory.  Oh yeah, he recommends grinding off the raised letters (high speed sander with fine grit paper does that really well) since he says after some time it starts to separate at the raised letters.
I am very impressed with the product and the results.  

Any advice on finding restoration parts for a Gazelle 1929 Mercedes Replica? Looking for bucket seats cushions and covers. taillights and a converteable top.
