I got my first copy of KitCAR magazine today, I had not been a subscriber for years. I went thru cover to cover and was so disappointed! I don't think there was a single car that I would keep if someone gave it to me! I find the imitation racer group sort of baffling to me, what comes up is a great big WHY! Not a single classic, not even ads from classic replica makers. I am not suggesting they are incorrect, they got to sell ads to people that buy them, and populate the magazine with stuff people will buy the magazine for. I am the one that is wrong, but I will be happy with my pair of Mercedes look-alikes, and wonder just what others seem to have against them.

Well thanks for the input, it seems like the industry has been moving more to a performance aspect.

Well, there are no less than three Mercedes Marlenes on EBay right now, probably people wanting to go for a Cobra or such. Of course I also see a whole bunch of Cobra replicas there, most only have a couple hundred miles, I guess the fantasy is a lot better than the reality. I am glad I am not a replica maker, much too changing for my blood.
