I am interested in building a Cal Spyder Kit, anyone?  

So far I've encoutered only one manufacturer of Cal Spyder Replicas: http://www.calspyderii.com/Welcome.html from a Classic Cars by Renucci LLC, anybody knows anything about this company?  

Addiction was the one of the major problem for us. So we must try to control it otherwise we may face lot of problems.

At the present, I believe that Classic Cars by Renucci, LLC., is the only company that is producing this car and they refer to it as the CalSpyder.

Your only other options may be to pick up an older car/kit and finish/refinish it.

I own one of the original Modena's produced in 1987 by Modena Design & Dev elopement.

I may be able to answer some questions regarding the car and the improvements that have been made by each of the companies that have produced it since.  

You know, by the large amount of questions we get about the Ferrari California Spyder you would think we would see more of them, although Ferrari is notoriously tough with replica companies.

If you are really serious about owning one of these great kits, why not have an original. I have an original McBurnie Spyder that I have had for many years. I would be willing to part with it for the right price.

I have the prototype Modena (1st one built) that I decided to sell last Friday.  It has some unique characteristics, like torsion bar suspension, side pipes, etc.  It needs a little cosmetic finishing, but just came out of being painted last spring, and a new engine (351 ford stroked to 427) about 2 years ago.  It is priced to sell for its condition.  It is located in CA, and has a Nevada title with a 61 model year.
