I'm looking into getting a 69 AC Cobra Rep. thats already built and another kit that i could build up with my kids turn key. i have no idea where to look can anyone point me in the right direction?

What are you looking at, Lamborghini's, Ferrari's. etc.? It also depends on what donor car you have.

If you talk to Carrol Shelby he will tell you they never stopped making them. I think he sold the licensing rights so that someone out there is using the same numbers. Sayrn, realistically though you need to identify the exact model Cobra you are interested in presumably the 427SC is what you are refering to. There was a street version, a race version and even a Daytona version with hard top. Lots of companies to choose from if you want a turn key. If building a kit I think the Factory Five gives you a huge amount of bang for your buck. The cost is kept low by using as much of an original Mustang donor as possible. Also they have economy of scale as they have built so many kits. Their web sight has a blog with every question you could ever want to know about building their kit or Cobras in general.
