Hello all Has anybody known any one to attempt this kit build? Or have a link to an online blog about building one? I just contacted Vannacor's corvette and they are still makeing the kit but the Old man has passed away and she the surviving spous doesnt know much about the kit at all. Other than she will still make them.
I am very interested in this kit any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Dennis

Yes, I have one of the 10 special ones made in 1989 costing 70 grand back then.
Am thinking of building a new one with better running gear. Done lots of research. Am on holiday right now but home next week - can chat and post photos etc.
To be honest, to do it right, plan on 40 grand.Correct wheels and tyres are 10 grand. Each corner of lights, now not available - you gotta wait till someone totals a real car without damaging the lights - but anyway - 2 grand a corner. Have thought out ways around the above, so can chat about it all.
Perfect donor is 1994/5/6. Rag top.
Regards, Hugo.
PS, forget the bsssht people will tell you about ruining a vette, driving a copy etc.......its all bollox. We have a real one ( 1986) and they are crap !!
Driving the C4 Rossa is mindblowing - just sooooooo much fun. And 25 mpg with no cam belts to change with engine out and a new water pump at the same time - figure 10 grand at a garage.

PS, forgot to say, best not to get one of these if you are camera shy, girlfriend shy, questions shy, etc.
Going out for a loaf of bread takes about 3 hours after you have answered a million questions and posed with everyone for photos.
If you wanna go anywhere quickly - take the old panelvan !!!!!!!!!!!!

Your car looks amazing would love to see more of it!
Would also like to talk more about the car is there another web site you hang out on more?
Need more info about build, I would go with Hard top not a Convertible as that's what I have for Downers.
Please contact me with a PM to exchange contact info Dennis B. Pahrump NV

I absolutely cannnot wait to upload my pics of my 89 Corvette that was turned into a "Testa-Vette". I have nicknamed it my Corarri.lol... I wish I had the pics with me right now to share. I have the convertible and almost fainted after months and months of trying to find someone else with this Ferrari Testarrosa kit on a Corvette. Everyone else has the kit on Fieros. From the side my car looks the same, red, black interior, convertible. I havent' finished the front of the car, it still looks like a Corvette if you look at it directly from the front but the back looks perfect and the sides look really great except for the very front of the Corvette is too curvy. I need more parts if anyone can tell me where to find them. The previous posts were correct, it is an attention getter. I can hardly drive anywhere without people hollering and asking questions and taking pics. I don't hate it though With the top down it is a very sharp looking ride. The Corvette motor is nice too. Looking forward to hearing from anyone with more info about getting parts for this kit! Crystal

Sorry haven't been around again for a while, PC took dump. I thought there were tail light from a Import that could be turned upside down that worked? and looked good as shown on there web site.
I have an 85 for a donor car still want to build this. Perhaps it would be good idea to email me when you post pics? PM me for address
Love to see detailed picks of mounting front and rear mounting of bumpers and any fabricated brackets that were necessary, The company doesn't make any the Original guy is gone now so info is a tad bit unreliable on how to build it. It was then even when you were talking to him he said he had some hand written notes on how to do it. Perhaps you guys still have a copy of them? I know the widow would really like to get a copy of them! She will still make kits On a order bassis but the whole kit thing was her Husband's creation.

I just bought a Vanacor Vette-Rossa that has some front damage. Unfortunately, having a hard time locating parts. Can somebody help acquire pieces needed. I can still get the bumper from Vanacor but the hood they tried selling me was the standard Corvette hood. My hood is pretty cracked up is it possible to rebuild. Also, any suggestions on headlights? Any info is appreciated.
