Thank god I found this site,  I am building for my bosses brother a superformace kit car Cobra.. I have run into a few roadblocks I am hoping someone here can help me.

I have installed a Ford Racing 392 ( sportmans Block) same as 351 SBF setting the motor in it seems to sit to high the drivers side header is rubbing on the steering column shaft I am using 70 351 motor mounts is there a different mount or year mount I should be using that is not as high (thick)

I also am installing a c6 auto trans and the crossmember extention is to short about 1 1/4 inch to short I would be able to install a square stock of steel to increase teh lenght or is ther another brace

Shifter what is anyone using or knows someone that is using a a/t and if so what shifter do they use any aftermarket assy it way to high.. Sorry so many 1st questions but superformance sales hasent been very helpful so I turn to here any help would and is greatly appricated

Thanks
Tom
