I have inherited a Duke Jaguar Roadster kit - boxed for last 20 years - its designed around a Ford Pinto - can't find a Pinto - any suggestions on a later model I can use?

I have built one using a chevette engine tranny and rear end. Later on changed engine to a v-6 ford w/auto trans. Also a-frames from chev.

My Dad built 1939 Jaguar the "Duke" back in 1985. It has a 1975 Pinto front end, 1975 Mercury Capri v6 2.8 engine with 4 speed transmission. While doing some research, I have found that the front end from the Mustang II can be used as well. I've been scouring the net trying to find some replacement hinges for the side wind wings. I had one crack and break. As of now it's wingless, until I figure out something. The company went out of business over 10 years ago, so basic parts can't be found. My Dad's is cream colored with the dual side mounts. Keep me updated on your progress. I haven't came across to many owners of the Duke. My email is wtjmwest@yahoo.com. Also, any pictures you have would be great too.
