Hey there,I just joined and I'm having a Sebring issue. I don't have the build manual and the dealer I purchased it from said the previous owner doesn't have it. It was sold to me as a 2005 special build and not the 61' Healey. Motor vehicles in Maryland is telling me I need to meet emissions standards for a 2005 and there's no way thats going to happen with the 302 in it.
I go in tomorrow hoping to convince them to re-title as a 61' Healey or possibly a 78" Mustang II since this was the chassis I think was used. Either way, this would get me around the emissions and standard Maryland inspection. I need some small items at this time, like a red brake light lense and trunk hinge part.
Does anyone have any other advice as to how to argue this title with MVA?

New member and just bought a used Classic Roadster Saxon Mark I with roll-up windows.  Car was assembled in 1985 using a 1969 VW chassis and 1973 dual port 1600cc engine.

I am interested in any information anyone could provide concerning the number of Saxon kits sold.  Would also like to know how long they were made before they went to the Sebring model with the fabricated frame and front engine.

Waiting for warm weather so I can get out and drive the new toy around.

Thanks

I would apprecite hearing ANYTHING you know, and I am aware of the folks in the UK that are producing several MX/SMX/whatever variants as turnkey cars - whatsup with that?!?
