Yes, I am sorry to bring up the Countach again. For me, the Countach was the iconic sports car of my generation. There will not be another jaw dropping car like the Countach in my lifetime. Everybody had the poster of the white Lambo on their wall when I was a kid.
My question is whether or not there is a quality turnkey Countach maker in the US. I know that the UK has some incredible replicas, but the US output looks like trashy midget Countaches that might fool a Honda tuner car fan on the outside. The interior is worse!
I want to budget around 60k for a good replica with a V8. Is this possible? I am stunned that exact replica Cobras and GT40s are overly abundant but Countaches are impossible to locate on a replica basis.

If you keep an eye out on Ebay, you'll find that there are a few really high quality builds that pop up there now and again for quite a bit less than $60K. The trick is patience. Once you find one, I highly recommend personally inspecting it.
Good news is that the Countach replicas are getting a bit cheaper as interest shifts more to the Murcialagos.

countach is the hardest kit car to build, but done right they look great. i think alot of people dont realize the time it takes to put one togather. it takes about two years to get one made.you do see people give up on them 90% percent finished,or nothing done but some sanding on a shell they know they cant cut, and do the glass work,i have also seen a few that burn up from a bad wiring job, always have that checked first thing.then find out what car parts have been used for brakes, front end, ect.check ebay motors under replica, in google type lamborghini craigslist,it does a pretty good job at finding them.
