Mecerdes Benz Gazelle Kit

My father left me a 1929 MB Gazelle kit car. It is registered in VA as made by "Piper" in 1983. It has a V-8 engine. I can find nothing on line about the old Piper company (I don't think it is the race car kit *** Also I don't see other kits with the V-8. Does anyone know anything about this kit car or its value. It will be for sale soon.
