kind of a strange way to start. shouldn't you pick a car that you love and start building instead of picking a car that someone else made and says it is easy?
i dont think one is way more difficult than the other... all are more or less a soapbox racer with an engine. you'll learn as you go. pick one you like and can afford.
it'll take longer then you think, so take your time. (years perhaps)
i've made a marlin sportster and now i am currently building a alpine a110 inspired car from scratch. come take a look
been busy now for 2 years minimum
