doceby 1st off welcome to the forum. 2nd I need to say I'm not an expert on VW's but have had a few & doe multiple mods with them. The trans should be the same bolt pattern,I think it's been a long time sence I messed with VW's, your converting to a hyd. clutch is as simple as adding a single hyd. master cylinder, plumb that to a slave cylinder & peddle assembly for the clutch then mount the slave cylinder on the block or bellhousing use a rod between the slave cylinder & the accuation clutch fork from th original set-up, Or buy a hyd. throughout bearing set-up & it will act as the slave cylinder & linkage combined. I hope this helps some all be it some what late. 3836bbl/Budnicks
Buy the book "how to build a _______" or "how to tune a ______" you fill in the blanks. 3836bbl/Budnicks
