Prepping a fiberglass kit car for paint

I am working on a fiberglass cobra Kit car(Everett Morrison) body & I had to rework all the panel gaps & block down to raw fiberglass in a lot of areas that exposed a lot of porosity. I filled most of the pinholes with evercoat 2 part glaze as well as some of the minor contours. Areas where the panel gaps had to be rebuilt were built back up with aircraft resin & fiberglass matting. Some of the areas I used Mar glass to fine tune the low spots, bodylines & gaps. Now I want to use a Spray poly to give a nice "shell" on the body to block down level & take out the remaining waves. I thought that using epoxy primer b4 the spray poly might be a good idea. I am hoping I am on the right track Any thoughts ?

classicclinic 1st off welcome to the forum all be it late. Sounds like your on the correct track to me,maybee do a coat of feather fill to do a build up of any wavey or low areas fiberglass may have. Thats my final step before primer after blocking to find low areas. 3836bbl/Budnicks
