yarddog1 what kit or body/frame style did you purchase? I'm feeling your pain, that would suck I've been in your possision before. Just be dillegent in trying to contact them if the web site is up, they are still wanting to sell parts or recieve orders & rip people off. I HOPE NOT. I don't know the company other than the web site I looked at after reading your post. Keep us updated on your progress. Good luck. 3836bbl/Budnicks

What parts are you missing? can you make your own? & still continue the project? What stage is the car in now? Are the parts available elsewere? I would drive there & confront the guy take some parts, even if they aren't for your car get something for the money. Mechanics liens are costly in the long run lawyer charge like $250 per motion Or $100 every time you need to renew your lien, the only person that benifits is the lawyers. Get proactive don't let the guy rest. If the guy is living at his parents house, pressure them, they will pressure him in the long run. If another company makes a part simular to what you need buy it, modify it, that's the nature of the BEAST no-pun intended. Don't let the guy win, keep the project going how ever you need to. Good luck, happy mortoring. 3836bbl/Budnicks

yarddog1 you know when you build a "kit car" you have to hand fab a number of parts almost allways, you may have to modify some parts but there are something like 200 mfgs. of the Cobra someone has to hav something that will work if you can't build your own just do some research, see who has what parts, who makes what parts you need. 1/2 the fun of building a kit car is the hunt for parts & installation/modification of said parts. I would start putting it together & see where it leads you. Good luck. 3836bbl/Budnicks

Had similar problem with Classic Roadsters Ltd. Fargo North Dakota Need rear fenders for the 1936 Maurlaine 500K finally found a car in pieces and bought the whole thing cheaper than fabricating fenders Now have 1 & 7/8 Maurlaine Mecedes and some great welding equipment and a few $$$$$$ invested in a great shop.
Anyone need 7/8 of a kit???

I have a Classic Motor Carriages Cobra... When I bought it in 1992 the company went out of business... The company reopened again under the brand Street Beast... I never contacted the company but people that did got their issues resolved... All I was missing was the complete wiper system I paid for and never got, I bought one from the many places that sell them.
